The original science fiction/horror film "Aliens" from 1979 about a highly aggressive extraterrstrial lifeform has seen many sequels, including several movies, novels, comics and computer games. The main character, Ellen Ripley, appears in all four movies and finds herself the alien's chief oppononent.
